EI has executed several projects for Ohm Laboratories, the U.S. subsidiary of Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, one India’s major pharmaceutical companies. These projects include a 24,000 SF expansion of their warehouse in New Brunswick, NJ, as well as expansion of the packaging, staging, QC Laboratory, offices and cafeteria at the same location.

The warehouse project was a 24,000 SF expansion of the existing building to include 5 high racks, locker rooms, material staging, dispensing, QC laboratory, sampling area, shipping & receiving, flammable material storage, with a second story to house a new cafeteria, offices and toilets. After extensive code analysis and meetings with local officials, EI was able to recommend changes to the proposed building design that enabled substantial cost savings to the project.

EI’s responsibilities included programming, detailed architectural and engineering design.
