Firehouse

To keep with its growing population and provide up-to-date municipal facilities, the Township of Mendham has retained EI Associates to design a new firehouse. The Township selected our firm based on our successful experience with many similar municipal facilities and our focus on designing efficient, cost-effective structures that are in harmony with the character of this semi-rural area. The Township also intends to have many “green” sustainable design features incorporated in the facilities. EI has extensive current experience in “green” design of buildings.

The new firehouse will provide a modern facility for the volunteer fire department as well as space for meetings and other social functions. A pre-engineered steel structure will be utilized to accelerate the construction schedule and contain costs. The exterior will be designed with durable modern construction materials that will provide an up-to-date attractive yet rural image. The new firehouse will be located on the site of the existing firehouse, near other municipal facilities.
