Community and Recreation Center and Improvements to Peterson Field

EI Associates was retained by The Township of Rockaway to perform the following improvements to Peterson Field:

• Construct either a natural or artificial turf multipurpose field comprising a little league field and a full size soccer field.
• Construct a two-story community building with three full size basketball courts and bleacher seating, concession and public restrooms on the main level and a partial second floor for multipurpose functions such as a conference area and party room. A full basement level is also anticipated for use as mechanical space as well as for the storage of Township recreational equipment.
• The new community building must incorporate provisions for ADA accessibility and will include an elevator to access the second level.
