EI Associates completed design of three new retail centers for the U.S. Postal Service in northern New Jersey. The new centers, located in Jefferson, Mahwah and Lake Hiawatha expand USPS’ services to growing communities while relieving existing facilities. The retail centers provide customer services including sales of stamps, and other goods as well as mail services. The centers are also a hub for local mail carriers.

While each center is designed around USPS’ standards, each provides a unique challenge. One of the facilities is located in a shopping center, providing easy customer access. One facility is an expansion of an existing USPS facility, while another is in a new location in a free standing building. Utilizing USPS’ graphics and interior standards, each facility is designed to be easily recognizable. Each center provides customized facilities to service the specific local community.
