Construction was recently completed on numerous upgrades designed by EI Associates to the buildings at Hunter College. Several building deficiencies were remedied including: leaking roofs, deteriorated windows and damaged masonry walls. Each building component was analyzed and a practical solution for each problem was executed.

The project included the addition of a five-story stair tower at the Brookdale East dormitory. The design affords natural ventilation in the central corridor, while creating a new means of egress. As a result of EI’s work, students at Hunter College are afforded a safer and more conducive environment for academic studies.
