New Administrative and Head Start Building

The Leaguers, Inc., a non-profit organization headquartered in Newark, NJ, retained EI Associates to design a new headquarters facility to house their executive and administrative functions as well as provide space for their Head Start program.

A new two-story building, totaling 43,932 gsf (gross square feet), is proposed for the 1.1 acre site. The building will be elevated above the site to permit the design of a sublevel parking area, sized for approximately (80) vehicles. The general program space requirements are as follows:

1. General Leaguers administration area which is comprised of the Executive Administration, Program Design and Management, Early Childhood and Health Services, Family and Community Partnership.
2. Head Start classrooms and related administrative area (to be located in a separate wing, with separate and secured access, on the first floor of the building).
3. Shared areas consisting of main lobby/foyer, multi-purpose room, training room media center.
4. Non-program, tenant space.
