Client: Boston Properties, Princeton, NJ

Boston Properties retained EI Associates to work with them and one of their tenants to provide architectural and engineering services associated with tenant improvements of approximately 22,000 sf of space at 104 Carnegie Center in Princeton. The client, NRG, an electrical power distribution trader, required additional space that did not have to be contiguous, or even in the same building, as they were already located in 211 and 104 Carnegie Center. The new space was one wing of the third floor in 104 Carnegie.

EI was retained directly by NRG to create the plan layout “Lease Exhibit”, which became the basis for the complete contract documents. The finishes and details of the space in 211 Carnegie were duplicated, with special attention to the lighting schemes and systems (up-light, recessed and soffit systems) which are very important to NRG and their employees.

EI’s in-house architects and engineers completed the contract documents in approximately four (4) weeks, allowing NRG and Boston Properties to meet their move-in dates.
