Distribution Center

A new 345,000 sq.ft. distribution center, including a highly automated 300,000 sq.ft. warehouse and 45,000 sq.ft. two-story office facility has been built for Barnes & Noble in South Brunswick, NJ. EI Associates was retained as construction consultants during the fifteen month construction phase of the project.

EI Associates provided the review and recommendation function for contract documents, change orders, requisitions, subcontractors and vendors. In addition, the EI team attended weekly construction meetings, and reviewed and reported on scheduling and performance by the construction contractor. On completion, EI prepared a punch list and conducted the walk-through with the contractor on the Owner’s behalf.
